Napa County is not only home to the world-famous wine region of Napa Valley but also to some of California’s most picturesque mountain ranges. You'll find serene vineyard views dotted along the hillsides, less traffic congestion, and higher air quality because the area is removed from dense metropolitan cities. With a slower pace of life, there's plenty of time to make new friends in cozy tasting rooms or at lively community events.

If you're looking for fine dining, try French Laundry or Bouchon, both Michelin-starred restaurants with a beautiful ambiance and unparalleled menus. You'll be in good hands with any of the servers and chefs at these establishments.

But if you’re looking for something relaxing, try Solage Resort. They have an on-site spa and a restaurant that serves excellent food as well. It has a calm and collected ambiance.

The stunning Auberge Du Soleil hotel has the best views looking over their private vineyard where you can enjoy a delicious meal. The Farmstead at Longmeadow Ranch has dining options and a farmers market, so you can take home some fresh produce from their own farm.  

Caymus Winery is one of the few family-run vineyards in operation since 1972. Their Cabernet Sauvignons are some of the most celebrated wines in the region. Their new winery in Suisun Valley is surrounded by pristine landscapes.

There are many different shopping areas in Napa County, each with its own unique feel and offerings. Two popular locations are St. Helena's main street and downtown Napa where both provide a fun day of unique boutique browsing.


Things to Do

Napa County is one of the most beautiful places in all of California. The people are friendly, the wine is delicious, and you can find something to do for almost any occasion. 

Festival Napa Valley is one of California's oldest and largest celebrations of food, wine, music, and art. It takes place over four days every spring at various locations throughout Napa Valley. You'll enjoy live music, culinary delights from top chefs across the globe, art exhibits, and more.

BottleRock is a three-day music festival held annually in May on Napa's historic waterfront. The festival features an array of musical acts from all genres, including rock, pop, hip hop, and alternative. BottleRock has attracted major artists such as Imagine Dragons, Deadmau5, and Bruno Mars over its seven years in operation.

Harvest Weekend is a three-day event held annually during October that celebrates all things wine-related in downtown Napa. They have tastings from local wineries and live music performances by top performers, such as Train or Sheryl Crow.

The Wine Train has been around for over twenty years and offers several different packages to help you make your trip your own. Choose between lunch and dinner trips, or try out their special holiday offerings, like Thanksgiving dinner or Valentine’s Day with your sweetheart. You can even learn how to make your own wine while aboard.

If you're looking for outdoor entertainment, Napa County has got you covered. The Skyline Wilderness Park has a popular disc golf course. Hiking and biking along the Napa River Trail are also popular activities in Napa County. If you're looking to get a little more adventurous, San Francisco Helicopters will take you on a tour of the surrounding area so that you can see it from above!
